Our Story

A place of
quiet protection.

La Perla de Rey was imagined as a place of quiet protection, inspired by the simple loyalty and presence of Perla and Rey — two souls who taught us what home truly means.

Hidden in the gentle hills of Morro d'Alba, surrounded by ancient olive groves and rows of Lacrima vines, this is not a hotel. It is a private estate — restored slowly, with intention, for those who wish to remember what it feels like to truly arrive.

"Some places are visited. Others are felt."

The Estate

Four suites.
A world apart.

An old farmhouse, restored stone by stone. Linen, lime plaster, oak and terracotta. Every detail chosen to disappear — so the landscape can speak.

By Design

Only four suites.
Intentionally.

We chose to remain small so that the estate could remain yours. No lobby, no crowds, no choreography — only space, attention, and the rare privilege of a place that holds a handful of guests at a time.

01

Long stretches of land between you and the rest of the world.

Silence

The sound of leaves, of fire, of glassware. Nothing more.

03

Attention

A small house. A small staff. A long memory.

04

Rarity

A handful of guests each season, by quiet invitation.

Vineyards and olive groves of Morro d'Alba

The Place

Morro d'Alba.
A landscape kept quiet.

Hidden among vineyards and olive groves overlooking the Adriatic hills, Morro d'Alba remains one of Italy's quietly preserved landscapes — a slow country of stone villages, long light, and a coastline most travellers have yet to discover.

Rituals

Rituals, not activities.

Each gathering is shaped by the season, the weather, the people who come. Nothing rehearsed. Everything remembered.

The Sanctuary Feeling

Some places change your pace.
Others change your perspective.

No reception. No rush. Only firelight, the cool weight of stone, the low conversation of cicadas, and a glass of something poured slowly. This is the practice of being here.

A Note

Created for those who seek places before the world discovers them.

Opening Soon

An invitation,
before the doors open.
